Our album is about to be released! What a journey. Actually we had a lot of delay due to different circumstances. It was all quite an adventure. From writing the songs in our attic, working on them together, watching the songs grow when we took them to other songwriters and musicians, for Jacco to produce the songs, to make appointments with a studio, ending up in another studio that was actually the best thing that could happen to us, to the long mixing and mastering process. And now, exactly nine months after the recording, this baby is born and ready to be released into the world. We call this debute cd ” Songs from the Attic”. Enjoy the teasers, in about four weeks the whole album will be available.

This coming friday is a special day. You may know that we have been working on an EP. This summer the recording took place. This was such a good experience! Thanks to the excellent engineer and our son who was playing bas and drums this project ROCKS!! And ofcourse we did well too..;) It was hard work, but we are so glad with the results. We recorded 7 songs and a short instrumental. 2 of those 7 songs are remixes of songs that we released before: Signs and Wonders and Healer. These remixes give a good taste of the whole EP as it is for style and sound. We decided to give you already a glimpse now: 29-01-2021 Signs and Wonders will be released in the new jacket that we put on this song. Signs and Wonders will be on all channels, and also as a video clip on our youtube channel! The beautyfull artwork is done by Joanne Dijs.
In january we continued the Worship Breakfast. We’re not doing that live anymore, we just want to have full attention on the people that are present. We had a very fiery worship this month, with intercession in the end. On the other hand we go live with the Zamar Sessions, with our own songs and music and singing from the Word. We recorded this song on the same day as Healer. Who would have thought that we would be in a sort of a world disaster, with social withdrawal, isolation at home and a severely dangerous disease. People get very ill, no place in hospitals, people die…It is truly a horrible time. Pressure for everyone, and a time full of insecurities. This song is not an easy happy ” sing along”, despite the title. It was not about the happy groove. We released this song in full concience, to encourage you all to keep courage and choose ” Joy” in this moment of time.
